So the damn hurricane makes it hard for me to go on runs. I ran outside yesterday for the first time in a long time, and my joints are feeling it today. Oh well...the choices are obesity or arthritis...and I choose arthritis, thanks. Anyway, the hurricane problem was remedied by my mother who gave me money to go to the gym. Huzzah! For $10 I could run inside and lift weights. Unfortunately, a week of not exercising (see:wisdom teeth extraction) has left me rather sore. I need, need, need to drop another 10 lbs. before my new headshots. At least 5 lbs. That would be more than sufficient.
Mmmmmmmmmmm...tea is good, yes it is!
School's back in session, which means I have to watch my driving these days. Don't really and truly want to run one of those little devils down. You could probably see this coming a mile away, but it feels weird to not be at school. I keep freaking out at random points in the day because I think I'm supposed to be in class or something. The truth is, I almost wish I was in class. I'm not sure that I'm good enough to get any work in Chicago. I'm not sure that I'll be aggressive enough to pursue in a timely fashion, the things that I want. Namely, to work consistently. I've sort of settled into a general malaise that comes from having just a long enough break to not be able to readjust quickly enough to la vie quotidienne. Whatever.
OH oh OH! And my newest obsession, thanks to BBC America, is my old favourite UK soap opera....Footballer's Wives!!! It is absolute trash but I love. I'd like nothing more than to be a British soap star eventually. Très fun. I wasn't going to, but seeing as how I'm running through most of my money as it is, I might buy the first season on DVD, since it's now available here. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
ALSO...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEIRDRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow.
Well, I did an okay job with rambling. I think now I'll read through episode summaries from the past 4 seasons of FW.
